1. The quotation is exclusive of VAT which is chargeable at the current rate(s).
2. All work is based upon current labour, plant and material rates and for the works to be carried out between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
3. This offer is open to acceptance within a period of 8 weeks from the date of quotation, thereafter we reserve the right to review our quotation and possibly submit a revised quotation.
4. Should you instruct us to carry out a change to the works to that described herein and/or delay the works prior to commencement of the works on site or during the works on site, we shall claim reasonable costs, which will adjust the final price to reflect such changes. We can provide you with a written estimate of costs for changes that may arise upon request.
5. Payment – Unless otherwise agreed, invoices will be rendered at 4 weekly intervals and/or completion of the works carried out by us and payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
6. Insurance – It will be your obligation to insure your property and the works being carried out in it by us. Before we commence works, you should advise the insurers of your property of the nature and value of the works to be carried out. We can request confirmation from your insurers that the property and the works being carried out are being insured.
7. We reserve the right to suspend performance of the works and/or terminate this agreement for non-payment or late payment. Should we suspend or terminate the works, we reserve the right to recover reasonable costs that we incur as a result of late/non-payment.
8. Claims for consequential losses shall not be our responsibility.
9. These terms and conditions will apply on receipt of your acceptance of this quotation.
10. This agreement is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts and is governed by English Law.
